My daughter received this kitchen from Santa 3 years ago when she was not quite 2 years old. I wanted something that was made from mdf or composite so it would be extremely heavy, yet not plastic or cheap. She has loved it from the moment she got it. We carved out a place in our kitchen for it and it's become a permanent fixture. While I'm busy fixing dinner, she goes over and fixes dinner. It has an endless amount of playtime and requires her to use her own imagination- no sound effects included with this one! Now that she's learning to read she even sounds out the grocery list that is painted on the fridge door. A clock on the side with moveable minute and hour hands is a great educational bonus as well. I can't even count the number of times she has "taken my order." This was by far one of the best toy investments we've ever made. It gets played with by every kid who comes in our door- no matter what age or gender.

Sturdy, cute, and a huge hit for my daughter. Got it for her when she was 1... she is turning 2 now, and still uses it every day. She will use this for several years to come. It took my husband a couple hours to put together, but it's a sturdy product and takes abuse. We all love it.

Bought this for my daughters first birthday and she loves it! It is durable to her banging wooden pots and pans on it and always opening and shutting the doors. Easy to assemble it the most adorable toy I have ever seen! Something she will enjoy for many years!

Little Tikes Sizzle N Serve Kitchen Review

We looked at numerous play kitchens for my child. After countless hours looking in retail stores and pouring over the internet, we decided on this one. The price was right and it had everything we were looking for. I couldn't be more pleased with this playset. It only took about 1 hour to fully assemble, and it wasn't that difficult if you can follow directions. My little girl loves it! The sounds and lights on the burners and the grill are really life-like and work very well. This thing is very sturdy too. My daughter likes to open the oven and dishwasher doors and stand on them. It hasn't even come close to tipping. It has enough little pots and pans and accessories to keep your child busy playing. The whole set is hard plastic and is very easily wiped and cleaned off, so no concerns for maintaining this set.

The only problem we have encountered is that the little ice cubes sometimes get stuck in the dispenser.

As usual, the purchase from Amazon was painless, and the delivery was fairly quick considering the size of the box it came in.
